Placue is a location-based reminder app for iPhone. Create reminders that notify you when you arrive at or leave a place.

With Smart Places, Placue can also remind you at nearby supermarkets and pharmacies and automatically update relevant places as you travel.

Location & Notifications

Placue uses location services to deliver location-based reminders. For reliable reminders while Placue is not open, allow Placue to use your location Always and enable notifications.

You can manage these permissions at any time in iPhone Settings → Placue.

Placue is a location-based reminder app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains how Placue handles information when you use the app.

Location Information

Placue uses your device's location to provide location-based reminders, including reminders when you arrive at or leave a place.

Placue may use location services in the background so that reminders can work when the app is not open.

For Smart Places, such as nearby supermarkets and pharmacies, Placue sends location-based search requests to OpenStreetMap/Overpass services in order to find relevant nearby places. These requests may include geographic coordinates needed to perform the search.

Placue does not use location information for advertising or tracking.

Reminders and Saved Places

Your reminders, settings, and saved places such as Home and Work are stored locally on your device. Placue does not require a user account.

Notifications

Placue uses local notifications to deliver reminders. Notification permissions can be changed at any time in iPhone Settings.

Third-Party Services

Placue uses OpenStreetMap data and Overpass API services to find nearby places for Smart Places. These services may receive technical information associated with requests, such as geographic coordinates and IP address.

Placue does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising or tracking services.

Your Choices

You can change or revoke Placue's access to Location Services and Notifications at any time in iPhone Settings.

Reminders and saved places can be deleted from Placue.
